About the client
Family Funk is London’s leading funk and soul band with a hugely popular set for weddings, Bar Mitzvahs and corporate events. The band also plays various residencies at nightclubs across London and beyond. They came to BVC with a need to update and modify their website.
The Brief
To create a funky new website that showcases the band’s style and music effectively and creates a wow factor online. The client wanted a media player to showcase some of their live performances on all pages and use eye catching photography to create an exciting and colourful website, whilst staying true to their funk genre. As well as developing the new website, we were asked to compliment the website with social media to drive people to the site via Facebook and Twitter.
What we did
Our expertise in utilising the latest website technologies allowed us to create an all singing, all dancing website for the Family Funk band. The new site includes a multimedia music player with six songs to choose from as well as sliding graphics to show the band performing live. Over the coming weeks and months, new video footage will be captured and added to the site.
In the build-up to the new site launch, we were able to work with the band to increase the number of followers they have on Facebook and Twitter, increasing their visibility and driving interest in the band’s live performances and gigs.
